Jarrett Sparks is a big play receiver

Jarrett Sparks is a popular name in the Pac-10 recruiting world right now. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound wide receiver from Merced High School (Merced, Calif.) currently has scholarship offers from five Pac-10 schools. And with the way he has been performing lately, there could be five more on the way.

Sparks is a big-play threat for Merced. Last season, he averaged 20.5 yards per catch, hauling in 42 catches for 862 yards and eight touchdowns. Right now, he is busy putting in work to prepare for his senior season and improve across the board. Sparks just finished up with his teammates at Cal's football camp, where his skills turned heads as he won the MVP award for receivers. And he will be hoping to make a similar impression when he attends USC's camp this Thursday and Friday.
