Spring Game Video: Matt Daniels

UGASports.com was on the road quite a bit during the spring and we not only watched prospects and commitments practice, but we watched them perform in their spring games as well. One athlete we saw in action was Duke commitment Matt Daniels and he performed quite well. He committed to Duke early, but since has picked up new offers including one from Georgia. Get a look at this hard hitting safety inside.

Daniels is listed at 6-feet tall, but he looks and plays bigger than that. He starts at running back and defensive back for the Fayette County Tigers, but will likely end up at safety on the next level.

He kind of flew under the radar early this year, but you can see on this tape that he has what it takes to play major college football.

You will see Daniels catch the ball out of the backfield, run one for a touchdown, make a crushing hit over the middle and he shows his speed when making a long run down the sideline.

Check out Daniels here and you will see just why he could be one of the top defensive backs in the state of Georgia.
