UVa's linemen camp impresses Hopkins

Highland Springs (Va.) defensive end/defensive tackle Antoine Hopkins (6-foot-2, 275 pounds, 4.8 seconds) has long held offers from both Virginia and Virginia Tech. Having visited both schools previously, the Highland Springs lineman once again visited UVa for the Cavaliers' first annual linemen camp. As reported here, Hopkins performed very well and we caught up with him for his thoughts on the event.

"I really liked it up there. It gave me a great sense of what it would be like to work with Mike London and the other coaches as my position coaches," said Hopkins.

London left a solid impression on the rising senior from Highland Springs.

"He is intense and I like that. It didn't matter if you were a guy that they had offered or not. He was coaching as if the game was the on the line. That really stood out to me," said Hopkins. "I really learned a lot from the event and feel that I am a better player from the experience."
