Wells looking to step up

The Ohio State recruiting effort has paid off in recent years in the State of Georgia. With players like Cameron Heyward,Antonio Henton and Anderson Russell all making their way north to Columbus in the past several seasons it opens the pipelines for other Georgia players to look at the Buckeyes. One player that Ohio State would love to see come north is Gainesville (Ga.) defensive end Keith Wells. The 6-foot-5, 211-pounder is one of the top players in his state and has not found much rest during the summer months.

"I am definitely in the weight room working hard," Wells said. "I'm also doing a lot of organized team stuff as far as passing leagues and defensive mini-camp. I am constantly trying to improve my team and sort of be the leader on my team, stepping up and showing these other guys what it takes to win."
