Horns looking to hook another East coast star?

The Texas Longhorn basketball program came out victorious in the biggest recruiting battle in the history of the program in landing Kevin Durant out of Montrose Christian two years ago. With Durant's success at Texas, it goes without wonder that the Longhorns have the ability to go back to east coast power Montrose Christian and be under serious contention for the next elite level prospect playing at the Rockville, MD school.

The class of 2009 at Montrose Christian features 6-foot-5, 190-pound small forward Terrell Vinson and the Longhorns are in the mix. If Texas is to land a second prospect from the talented Montrose Christian program, it will have to fight off a list of east coast powers as they did two years ago.
