Aynor (S.C.) offensive lineman T.J. Johnson took an unofficial visit to USC on Monday and gave the trip a rave review.
"It was awesome," the 6-foot-4, 275-pound Johnson said. "I don't know if I can put a number on it or anything, but I'd definitely give it high marks. It was great."
Johnson, who bench presses 340 pounds, began the day with a highlight.
"As soon as we got there, coach (Steve) Spurrier Jr. took us up to his dad's office, and we talked for about 20 minutes or so," he said. "He seems like a great guy. He talked about their goal of winning an SEC championship, and he's just looking for the players he needs to get it done."
