Okoroha taking his time

Going into 2007 the Syracuse defense will be led by a pair of senior safeties Joe Fields and Dowayne Davis, after they leave the spots will be tough to fill and the Orange have many young players ready to step in. Even though the team has the players to make the needed moves they are still looking to improve the depth in this year's class. One of the prospects that could help is Maryland prospect Okechuckwu Okoroha.

Okoroha, the 6-foot 180-pounder, played well as a junior totaling 43 tackles and 4 interceptions. Last season his play was also recognized after the season as he was named second team All-League.
