Four-star OT Mattes to narrow list soon

Concord (N.C.) Robinson offensive tackle R.J. Mattes (6-foot-7, 270 pounds, 5.1 seconds) is one of the most sought after prospects in the state of North Carolina in 2008 and one of the top offensive lineman in the nation. Virginia was the first school to offer the four-star tackle but many others have followed suit. Mattes' recruitment is about to move forward to the next step as he narrows his list. Will UVa make the cut?

"I just returned home from Appy State. We did a three-day camp as a team. It was a great experience and team-building exercise."

Before Mattes and his Robinson teammates departed for camp, the four-star lineman received news of another scholarship offer.
