Cali QB has new schools interested

There are already six golden armed quarterbacks from the Golden State who are already committed to D-I schools. There is another California quarterback who will definitely be on a D-I roster in the fall of 2008 and that is Ryan Griffin (6-4, 208, 4.8) from West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade.

Griffin has the credentials as he earned League Offensive Player of the Year, first-team all-league, first-team all-area and second-team all-CIF as a junior after throwing for 3,358 yards and 32 touchdowns.

Northwestern, Washington, Nevada, San Diego State, Michigan State and most recently LSU have been showing interest in Griffin.

Griffin is a member of the Rivals.com California Top 100 team for the class of 2008 landing as the Golden State's No. 97 prospect at any position.
