Jackson adding offers
Mansfield (TX) safety Kenji Jackson has had a very successful summer. As the middle of July nears, Jackson has seen his offer sheet grow to an even dozen. The two most recent offers have been two of the ones that have excited him the most.
Along with picking up offer after offer, Jackson has kept busy with visits to many of his top schools. Jackson joked that he was touring Texas, but hopes that his next visits will be outside the state lines.
Jackson has been keeping busy talking with coaches from all his schools. He said recent talks with Missouri's coach Dave Steckel have really peaked his interest in the Tigers.
Jackson said that even before the offer, the Tigers were a school of interest in his mind. He added that the steady course of Missouri is something that has really drawn his eye.
Jackson said he sees himself as more of a strong safety rather than a free safety. He said coaches like his ability to help out near the line of scrimmage.
With so many offers, Jackson said that recruiting has not been nearly as easy as he first thought. He has, however, been able to narrow down to his top 4 schools.
Jackson admitted that the urge to commit can sometimes be strong, but knows that until he sees all of his top schools, he has to wait. He hopes that once he is able to see all the schools he wants, he will be able to to make an informed decision.
