Walters listing five

Frenship High has become one of the better known 4A football programs in Texas in recent years with a combination of success on the field and producing several Big 12 caliber prospects. While the 2007-08 Frenship Tigers team will feature Texas Tech commit Seth Doege at quarterback, 2009 offensive lineman Mason Walters may well be the top prospect in the program.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive lineman prospect has spent the summer on the min-camp circuit in the state of Texas, coming away impressed with what he has seen so far.

Walters already has an early list of five schools that stand out and he knows what he is looking for in a program. His top five includes Texas, USC, Texas Tech, Florida and Michigan.
