Is Charles Deas still on FSU's radar?


Charles Deas was one of the most sought after defensive lineman in the 2006 recruiting class. But after signing a letter of intent with LSU, the 6-foot-4, 315-pound big man realized he wouldn't make the grade and ended up in prep school. The former Ft. Lauderdale Dillard star is getting ready for his second season at Milford Academy in New York and hopes to be playing Division 1-A football in 2008.




"He's still at Milford Academy," said Deas' mentor and current Boyd Anderson Head Coach Mark James, "he should be finished in January.



"I think people have called moderately, his main thing is to concrete on graduating. He's almost there. He's concentrating his efforts on it (graduating)."
