Brown names new top three

Cheraw (S.C.) three-star wide receiver Jaron Brown now has seven offers on the table, and he visited three of those schools in person since getting out of school in early June.

"This summer, I visited West Virginia, Tennessee, and I went to camp at Kentucky," the 6-foot-2, 187-pound Brown said. "I also like USC and Clemson. All of them have offered me."

West Virginia made a strong impression on Brown, who has been timed under 4.5 in the 40-yard dash.

"West Virginia has very nice people up there, and they have nice facilities," he said. "I got the chance to meet a couple of players, and they were down to earth. I got to watch their summer workouts, and see their indoor turf. Coach (Rich) Rodriguez said the wide receiver spot is wide open, and he could offer immediate playing time."
