Gaddy Attracting Early Offers

The state of Washington has some of the nation's top guard prospects for the 2009 class. Currently ranked 45th overall by Rivals for the 2009 class, Abdul Gaddy, a 6-foot-3 170-pound guard playing out of Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma (WA) could be the best of the group. After a busy spring playing on the Northwest Panthers (formerly the Portland Legends) 16U team, Gaddy began playing on the top team and hasn't looked back.

"I stayed closer to home most of the spring playing on the 16U team. After a good spring, we just decided that the time was right to move up and play on the top team. After that, the recruiting really started to pick up," said Gaddy.
