Arguably the most talked about dynamic of the Cal football program in 2007 is the Golden Bear receiving corps. That would be the case with any team that has DeSean Jackson. However, the future of Cal football is being built right now during as the Bears staff reload their WR talent with prospects like Los Angeles (Calif.) El Camino CC prospect Verran Tucker.
The recruiting route that Cal has taken to reload for 2008 has been to mix transfers, JC prospects, and prep wide receivers in a balanced format. The Bears added Florida transfer Nyan Boateng last season, along with prep wide receivers Alex Lagemann and Mike Calvin. The first addition in 2008 is now Tucker.
