Tolliver turns to coaching

The interest level between the LSU Tigers and the top prospect in the State of Louisiana must be pretty strong.

The evidence?

Unable to participate in the LSU camp due to a left ankle injury, Rayville wide receiver Chris Tolliver was still in Baton Rouge coaching one of the seven-on-seven teams.

The 6-1, 180-pound Tolliver is a four-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. Rated as the 13th-best wide receiver in the country and the 68th-best overall player in the country, Tolliver has offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Nebraska and North Carolina.

Catching 76 passes for 1,500 yards and 26 touchdowns in the pass- happy Rayville offense, Tolliver said that he did still enjoy his time at the LSU camp.
