Wolfpack pursuing Georgia lineman

NC State has a five-star running back, an Elite 11 quarterback, a speedy receiver and top tight end already committed. Now it's time to start bringing in some offensive linemen. One target that has emerged is Zach Allen from Tift County High in Tifton, Ga.

"Zach is actually driving up [to NC State] today to visit the school," Tift County High head coach Jay Walls said.

Walls noted that NC State is one of Allen's five offers, joining South Florida, Troy State, Middle Tennessee State and UAB. He is also beginning to be recruited hard by Florida.

"He went down there for a senior camp and he did really well," Walls said. "He did a good job showing his ability on the boards, the blocking drills and all that. It was really good for him to go to that camp. He also went to a combine in Athens, Ga., and was named the most valuable offensive lineman there."
