One last run for Anthony Johnson
Arizona's returning players officially reported back Wednesday and with hype and expectations being as high as ever for the 2007 season, the players are excited about getting to work in camp on Thursday.
One of the senior leaders going into the upcoming season will be wideout Anthony Johnson.
With 312 receiving yards and three touchdowns last season, Johnson is looking to make a big improvement in those numbers with the installation of the new spread offense, in which he will play a position called the small tight end. He feels that the position suits his abilities very well.
"(The position is) diverse because the small tight end can play outside but it's also put inside so I'm expected to do a lot over the middle," he said. "When they put me outside I'm expected to make big catches down the field.
