In order to be the best at your respective profession, you have to think and act like the best.

It's an old adage, but to James Hardy there's nothing old or cliche about it.

Hardy took that exact mantra to heart this summer when he spent a little over two weeks in Orlando, working out at the complex of legendary NFL trainer Tom Shaw, a man who is known as a guru in his field for developing college prospects into professional players. "I had to pay for everything, but I've been saving up my money and just to get to go down there and do it. It was worth it," Hardy said.

There, Hardy did everything from calisthenics to parachute work on the track.
