One offer in hand, Miller willing to wait

Highland Springs (Va.) wide receiver Deon Miller (6-foot-5, 185 pounds, 4.6 seconds) is a player to watch as the season kicks off. Miller, a gifted and fluid athlete, could play either wide receiver or tight end at the next level. Miller's size is getting him looks, and what he does on the field this year will determine if more teams will offer. With one offer already on the table, Miller is eager to earn more.

"Temple has offered me a scholarship. I am hearing from a bunch of other schools too," said Miller.

What schools have been in contact with the 6-foot-5 wideout?

"Other than Temple, I have been hearing most regularly from Virginia, Virginia Tech and UConn."

Miller, who is being recruited by Virginia assistant Mike Groh, hears from UVa regularly.
