Davis favors another, but sets Iowa St. visit
Recruiting seems like an endless process, but two-a-days weigh more heavily on the minds of high school football players across the country this time of year. 6-foot-4, 250-pound Cahokia (Ill.) tight end London Davis just started practice in soaring temperatures, but prepared himself for the challenge.
Although practices take up the majority of Davis' free time now, he seems to be hammering things out on the recruiting front as well.
In addition to the Illini and Cyclones, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Kansas State and Indiana are other Big 10 and Big 12 schools that have also offered Davis. MAC schools rarely beat out BCS conference schools for players, but Davis says the Huskies lead by a large margin.
