Bulls reel in another Georgia prospect
With three Peach State signees in last year's class, the Bulls have continued to expand their recruiting push north of the Florida border with a recent commitment from Buford's Demetris Murray.
The 5-foot-11, 205-pound running back gave USF his pledge over offers from ACC programs Maryland and Wake Forest after making a visit to Tampa earlier this summer. Murray has family in Florida - grandparents in Fort Lauderdale and cousins in Jacksonville - and he said the Bulls were an easy choice.
USF began showing recruiting interest in Murray in the spring, and offensive coordinator Greg Gregory was Murray's primary recruiter. The Bulls were obviously impressed by Murray's junior numbers and his potential combination of speed and power.
