Jake Johnson visits Blacksburg

Virginia Tech linebacker commitment Jake Johnson was one of two prospects to make it to Blacksburg over the weekend. The Falmouth (Va.) Stafford Senior was in attendance for the Hokies first scrimmage of the fall.

"The visit was really good," he said. "I enjoyed going down there on Saturday. The defense shutdown the offense every single drive. I watched the linebackers and they are amazing. They were hitting everybody and went sideline to sideline. I was also impressed by the special teams. They blocked a couple punts and a field goal and I'll probably play on that next year. I can't wait to get down there after seeing all that."
