Will St. Fort's commit impact Woods?

Could Peter St. Fort be the first building block to a recruiting class that features three players from Golden Gate High School?

The IU coaching staff and fans of the program are certainly hoping so.

The 5-11, 170-pound St. Fort gave a verbal to Bill Lynch last Friday, giving the Hoosiers their first safety prospect for the 2008 class.

Naturally, St. Fort's commit has led to some speculation that IU's standing will improve with his two teammates - defensive end Anthony Mains and wide receiver J.D. Woods both of whom each hold scholarship offers from Indiana.

Woods said Saturday that's the case, for him at least.
