Abdul Gaddy gives UA another elite point guard

Game Control. This gift of basketball is limited to a select few and Arizona is fortunate to have this attribute in its first commitment of 2009. Abdul Gaddy exhibits not only game control but other characteristics that a pure point guard has.

The 6-foot-3, 170 pound Tacoma, Wash. guard gave his verbal commitment to the Arizona Wildcats on Thursday as the history of receiving elite level point guards out of high school continues for Arizona.

Gaddy is a guard that any coach would trust to have the ball in his hands at the beginning, middle and end of any game. He shows confidence while dribbling the ball and seems to always make the right pass.

After originally being ranked 45th amongst his peers in the Top 100 players in the class of 2009, Gaddy skyrocketed up the charts as his play on the AAU circuit began to earn him some of the national spotlight.
