Nebraska vs. Wake Forest report card

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Nebraska escaped Wake Forest with a 20-17 victory on Saturday. Here is a complete grade out of the Huskers win from Saturday.

Several things stood out on Saturday, but there are also several concerns the Huskers will take out of this win. One of the biggest bright spots was the play of the Husker secondary.

Quarterback: C

Senior quarterback Sam Keller gave Nebraska some huge momentum heading into the locker room by leading the Huskers down to a quick scoring drive. However, for the most part it was a shaky performance by Keller as he finished with two interceptions and he also had two fumbles. One thing I will say in Keller's defense is there were multiple dropped passes by NU's tight ends and receivers that hurt Keller's stat line.

Running back: B

Junior running back Marlon Lucky had 28 touches for 124 yards and one touchdown on Saturday. Lucky had to work for everything he got today and there's no question Wake's defense tested his overall toughness.
