Williams left Athens speechless
A prospect that has really risen up the charts recently is four-star safety Nick Williams out of Bainbridge (Ga.). He has become a wanted man and he appears to be high on Georgia's list. He visited UGA for the first time Saturday and he seems to have had a good time.
"I don't know how to describe it - I am speechless," said Williams when asked about the Georgia atmosphere Saturday night. "It was loud, the fans were amazing and it was unbelievable."
Williams visited Georgia in June for their camp and that is where he picked up his Bulldog offer, but he had not been there for a game before.
"That was my first time for a game and I really enjoyed it. It was everything I was hoping for and I like Georgia more and more every day. I knew it would be a lot of fun and I had heard about it from friends, but I got to see what it was like for myself and it was great."
The atmosphere was everything the 6-foot-3, 206-pound safety had hoped for, but did the outcome put a little damper on his visit?
"The loss doesn't hurt Georgia at all," he said. "Georgia is a good team and they will bounce back. This is football. Any team can win on any given day. Both schools played hard and Georgia came up a little short, but that doesn't mean anything to me. I still like them a lot."
Williams likes them enough to continue to list them on the top of his list.
"Oh man, Georgia is definitely number one for me," he admitted with confidence. "I like them more and more and my family loves them too."
