In-state junior Metheny takes in Virginia win

Stephens City (Va.) Sherando quarterback Ross Metheny (6-foot-3, 190 pounds, 4.64 seconds) is one of the top juniors in the state of Virginia. In his first two years under center at Sherando, Metheny has complied 3,813 passing yards and 28 touchdowns. Those numbers have caught the attention of several college programs, including UVa. On Saturday, the talented junior took in the Cavaliers' win over Duke.

Before the game, Metheny spent time on the field with Virginia head coach Al Groh. The two walked out to the 50-yard line and spoke to assistant Mike Groh about the game.

Virginia wasn't the only school that Metheny camped at this summer. In fact, he took in six camps.
