Harris keeps the mailman busy

September 1 is a day that many mailmen across the country learn to hate. That is the first day that juniors are allowed to be sent letters by college coaches. One of the many players that received stacks of mail was Ricky Harris. The very athletic lineman from Westerville, Ohio received no less than 50 letters over the first three days of September.

For Harris, like many 16 and 17 year olds, separating the attention off the field from the game on the field can be a challenge. He admits that, but it is something that he is determined to get together so he can excel during the games.

According to Harris schools from all conferences all over the country have sent him mail. His list of schools includes Rutgers, Colorado, Washington State, Iowa, N.C. State, Oregon, USC, Vanderbilt, Duke, UConn, Illinois, West Virginia, Florida, Wisconsin, Indiana, Tennessee, Louisville, Boston College, Nebraska, Cincinnati, Stanford and Alabama.
