Weston making a name in Athens

When Kade Weston signed with Georgia out of New Jersey's Red Bank Regional High School, he admits he wasn't up on the history of some of the Bulldogs'

recent defensive linemen who went on the NFL.

Not any more.

Ask Weston that same question today and he'll quickly mention names like Richard Seymour, Marcus Stroud, Jonathan Sullivan and Kedric Golston.

"When I first signed, I really didn't know much about the history," Weston said. "But Coach G (defensive line coach Rodney Garner) would talk about Stroud, Seymour that they were so good because they just went out and worked hard."

A sophomore after redshirting in 2005, the 6-foot-5, 315-pound Weston would love to one day be mentioned in the same sentence with the two current NFL stars.
