Edwards still set on five

Tight end Tyler Edwards has been hearing from a lot of schools since the start of September but the Monroe (La.) Ouachita prospect seems to be set in his top five.

"I actually got a call from Arkansas the other night and I was pretty surprised to hear from them," Edwards said. "I had told them what my top five was but I guess they just wanted to give it a shot.

"I'm pretty set on LSU, Alabama, Miami, Florida and Nebraska. LSU and Alabama are recruiting me the hardest and I'd say they're still at the top. Miami, Florida and Nebraska are pretty even right after them."

Edwards has an official visit scheduled to Nebraska for the Cornhuskers' October 20 game against Texas A&M. He plans on taking trips to LSU, Alabama, Miami and Florida but has not set those officials up just yet. He did say it was likely he would take his visits to LSU and Alabama during the season.
