Cali WR waiting on word

After a junior year that saw him rack up seven touchdowns, a 16.4 yard-per-catch average and four early written scholarship offers, Chino Hills (Calif.) wide receiver Alonso Agwuenu has seen his recruiting come to a standstill. Agwuenu transferred from Chino Hills Ayala to Chino Hills High for his senior year and is awaiting clearance to play. Duck Sports Authority caught up with the 6-foot-3, 184-pounder recently.

Agwuenu told us that he's trying to be patient while waiting for eligibility to play his senior year.

Agwuenu garnered early offers from Mississippi, Oregon, Colorado, and San Diego State; however, because he's been unable to play this year he's seen things slow down considerably.
