Former AU DE commits to Rebels, again

Who goes around sometimes comes back around.

During Ed Orgeron's first recruiting class in 2005, Auburn commitment Alonzo Horton,a four-star linebacker from Louisiana dropped his commitment to the Tigers after an official visit to Oxford. Two days later, he recommitted to the Tigers and signed with them.

Horton shuffled back and forth at defensive end and linebacker in his two years on the Plains. After a redshirt year in 2005, he played in nine games in 2006 totaling three tackles.

Horton signed with Auburn in 2005 out of Abramson High School in New Orleans, La. and was one of the top signees in the class.

Horton left Auburn this spring and reportedly signed with Jackson State, but ended up this fall at Northwest C.C. in Senatobia, Miss.
