UCF a perfect fit for Williams

UCF had everything David Williams was looking for in a school. The linebacker from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale had a great relationship with the coaching staff, he's already familiar with several of the current players, he loves the new facilities and the fact it's only a couple hours away from home.

On Tuesday night he made the call to commit. Williams almost committed during his unofficial visit to the school this past weekend, but he wanted to take a few days to pray on it.

Williams had over a dozen offers, but he focused the most on four other schools during the recruiting process. He initially had a strong interest in South Carolina and South Florida, but later trimmed his list to UCF, Cincinnati and Arkansas.
