Lyles off to great start

Hartsville (S.C.) wide receiver Jordan Lyles has been a standout on both the basketball court and the baseball diamond for some time. This year, he decided to give football a shot for the first time, and it seems he made the right choice. Through six games, the 6-foot-4, 195-pound Lyles has 38 catches for 729 yards and 15 touchdowns in helping lead his team to a 5-1 start. One major school has taken notice.

"South Carolina just started recruiting me," Lyles said. "Coach (David) Reaves came by my school on Friday and let my coaches know they were interested. They invited me to their game against Mississippi State game, so I went to it."
