Another addition to the Owls' nest

Saturday was a successful day for Temple's football program.

The Owls notched their first win of the year with a 16-15 victory over Northern Illinois at Lincoln Financial Field, and they scored some good news on the recruiting front, too.

OwlScoop.com has learned that Shahid Paulhill, a defensive end from Philadelphia's Northeast Catholic High School, has verbally accepted a scholarship offer to play football at Temple next season.

Paulhill, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound senior, has registered 24 tackles and 2.5 sacks in six games this season for the Falcons.
