Trawick impressed during Purdue official visit

Purdue will lose senior starter Justin Scott at safety following the 2007 season and will be looking for his replacement in spring practice and fall camp next year. On Saturday, the Boilermakers hosted Marietta (Ga.) Sprayberry safety Brynden Trawick who they'd like to have in the battle for that vacated spot.

The 6-foot-2, 213-pound Trawick is rated three stars by Rivals.com and ranked as one of the top 55 safeties in the country. He took his first official visit of the process this past weekend to Purdue.
