Video: Barkley Bombs Centennial

The legend of Matt Barkley is beginning to take shape.

For decades, some of football's greatest quarterbacks have called Southern California home. Matt Leinart played at Mater Dei before winning two national championships at USC and becoming the first round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2005.

Barkley may have large shoes to fill as a Monarch, but after Thursday night's 51-37 win over nationally ranked Corona Centennial, the 6-foot-3, 225-pound three-year starter took steps toward rarefied air.
