Hester's way of playing football
Going back to his high school days at Evangel in Shreveport, Jacob Hester has always merely done what has been best for the team.
Hester began his high school career as a freshman defensive end. One year later, he was a 250-pound nose guard. When an injury knocked out a running back one game into his junior season, he became Evangel's primary rusher.
When John David Booty bypassed his senior year to enroll at Southern California and the starting slot back took over at quarterback, Hester filled that important position in the Evangel offense.
