Shakeup with UGA's linebackers
John Jancek's first year as Georgia's linebackers coach in 2005 wasn't a lot of fun.
Injuries plagued the Bulldogs' linebacking corps throughout the season, forcing Jancek to mix and match his players, eventually settling on a unit that helped Georgia finish eighth in scoring defense at 16.4 points per game.
Jancek has a similar challenge in 2007.
The recent shoulder injury to starting Mike linebacker Marcus Washington, and news that starting Sam linebacker Brandon Miller is listed as doubtful due to a calf injury, has Jancek busy trying to match the right personnel in order to fill the necessary gaps.
It hasn't been easy.
