Miami Norland High School CB Emmanuel Sourrin is still hoping for a Hurricane offer.

And he's still taking unofficial visits for Cane home games.

He attended Saturday's game with two teammates. And went in the locker room afterward, where he was pulled aside by defensive backs coach Wesley McGriff.

"He called all the DB prospects together after the game, was talking to us," Sourrin said. "He was saying `We need DB's that make big plays,' stuff like that."

Included in that group was Brandon Harris and FSU commitment C.J. Holton. Because Pahokee's Janoris Jenkins left the locker room early, he wasn't in the meeting.

Sourrin says he is still hopeful he'll get a UM offer. He lists other offers from Florida State and several mid-level Division I schools.

"Coach McGriff asked me to get him some more film," Sourrin said. "He said he needs some film, told me to tell my coach to get him some film.

"I have a chance to get an offer."
