Quick hits: Pitt versus Cincinnati

# The Pitt football team (2-4) will host the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday at Heinz Field with kickoff scheduled for Noon. The game will be telecast as the Big East Game of the Week and it can be seen locally on WTAE-TV. Dave Sims will do the play-by-play while former Panther quarterback John Congemi will handle the color. This weekend will be Homecoming for Pitt.

# Cincinnati is now 6-1 after being upset by Louisville Saturday night. The Bearcats come to town ranked No. 23 in the country in both the AP poll and the BCS poll. The Bearcats opened as a 10-point favorite.

# The winner of this game gets possession of the River City Rivalry Trophy.

# Pitt is 6-0 all-time against Cincinnati and 2-0 in Big East play. Last year Pitt beat Cincinnati on the road 21-14.

# Pitt (2-4) is trying to break a four-game losing streak. The Panthers have not started conference play 0-2 since 2001.

# Pitt freshman running back LeSean McCoy is averaging 111.3 yards per game and is now No. 2 in the Big East behind Ray Rice of Rutgers who is averaging 136.3 yards per game. McCoy is the No. 2 freshmen rusher in the country behind only Idaho's Deonte Jackson (112.3).
