Defensive tackle lists Cats among leaders

Greenville (S.C.) High School is familiar recruiting territory for the Kentucky football coaching staff, and in particular, offensive coordinator Joker Phillips. It comes as no surprise that the Wildcats are trying to dip into the Red Raiders' talent pool once again.

Defensive tackle Arterio Arnold has been hearing a lot from the Cats over the past few months and is regretting the fact that he didn't make it up for the historic Kentucky upset last weekend over LSU.

"That was a big win for Kentucky," Arnold said. "I was very impressed with that win. I had to do a double-take when I saw the score. We were talking about it today, walking back from practice."

Arnold's recruitment has picked up steam this season. He is hearing from more than the short list of schools that were recruiting him in the spring and summer.
