The Big Cat Speaks - Return From Outer Space

The stars came out in the night sky, the Earth rotated and everything was in its proper place in the rest of the world. Washington State University head football coach Bill Doba could attest to those things because, with his team enjoying a bye week in the schedule, he took some time to revert to being a normal human being.

"I acted like a real person last week. I kicked back and watched some football," said Doba of his bye week activity.

Football might have been the last thing Doba might have wanted to watch after the Cougars' last game - a 53-7 dismantling at the hands of Oregon - but Doba says, like he has said before, once he looked back at the game, it was not as bad as the score indicated. There were good things that the Cougars did, Oregon is a good team and his team needs to move on and focus on positive elements for the remaining five games of the year.
