Mason, Indians off and running

Waxahachie is 6-1 on the season and has reeled off six straight wins since dropping the season opener to Highland Park.

There have been several players who have stepped up over the course of the year, and Gary Mason has been a big time player for the Indians this fall.

The 6-5, 211-pound prospect has prospered with his hand in the dirt, with Mason making life tough for opposing quarterbacks or anyone who else who gets in the way. The move to defensive end has been a good one for the three-star prospect.

He has received offers from SMU, Louisiana-Monroe, and Baylor, and has recently heard from Kansas.
