Cunningham to ASU

One week after landing a verbal commitment from a Top-100 prospect in the 2009 class, Arizona State has struck again, with another pledge from a 4-star guard.

San Leandro (Calif.) standout Jared Cunningham, the No. 81 recruit in the class, committed to the Sun Devils on Monday evening, a day after returning home from a visit to the Tempe campus.

"Me and the coaches really bonded and I love the players out there."

Cunningham had offers from Cal, Washington State and numerous other programs but his decision came down to ASU and San Diego State. He tripped to both schools in recent weeks before making his decision. ASU was his final stop.
