DT Thompson has Top 5

Torrance (Calif.) El Camino Community College defensive tackle Justin Thompson is one of the most sought after D-Line prospects in the country. Now standing 6-foot-5, 290-pounds, and controlling what is one of the most talented defensive fronts in all of junior college football, the Rivals 4-star and Top 5 JC national standout has a clear cut Top 5 - a list that includes the University of California.

After watching one of his early season games, it would be tough to find a more talented interior linemen available than Thompson. He's quick, strong, and a very physical inside player who tosses and explodes through blocks. While he also has the size to play inside, he has the speed to play outside, and brings a unique versatility to the gridiron. Thompson is a big part of why the Rams are the No. 2 ranked team in California, posting a 7-1 record, with their only loss on the road to the No. 1 ranked JC-team in California, 9-0 Bakersfield.

Academically, Thompson is in great shape, and credits El Camino teachers and academics for preparing him for a four-year University.
