4 star OL to be in Starkville this weekend

While the offensive line has been a strong point this year for the Bulldogs, two of its top performers are graduating and a lot of youth will be relied on next fall. With that in mind State offered a 4-star JUCO prospect recently and he will make the trek to Starkville this weekend the see MSU host Alabama. Where does State fit in his pecking order?

One of State's losses will be at right tackle with J.D. Hamilton graduating, and with two other Co-Lin C.C. graduates on the team in Jesse Bowman and Jasper O'Quinn, it is only natural that State would go after 4-star Co-Lin right tackle Phillip Freeman.

"About two weeks ago, on the same day, Mississippi State and North Texas offered me," commented the 6-foot-6, 290 pounder. "I think that makes six."

Also in the mix is Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Southern Miss, and UAB. His first scheduled visit has apparently fallen through and that opened the doors for State this weekend.
