Worth the wait

Imagine having the game you hold so dearly be in doubt. The future that was so promising suddenly faded from even your own thoughts.

Not being with your best buddies nor sharing their new experiences that you dreamt about together. Enter into Stanley Hunter's world.

Football wasn't even going to be part of the equation. Factory work in upstate South Carolina was going to be the new road.

"I didn't think I was going to ever get to play football again," Hunter told Tigerillustrated.com in a recent interview, remembering his thoughts after learning he didn't receive the necessary SAT scores to enroll at Clemson this fall.

The months of uncertainty weren't easy for the three-star linebacker. Doubt lingered right away, but it was the Clemson staff that recruited him that immediately kept him believing.
