Ingram back from Madison

Flint (Mich.) Southwestern Academy running back Mark Ingram is back from Madison, Wis., where the Wisconsin Badgers hosted him on the first of a possible five official visits for the four-star prospect.

Ingram shared his thoughts about the visit with Sunday night.

"It was really great and I had a lot of fun," Ingram said. "The coaches showed me a good time. Nick Toon was my host and he showed me a good time. So overall there were a whole lot of positives about the visit."

When asked which one of the many positives stood out the most during his visit, Ingram had more than one in mind.

"Just how academically supportive they are with their players. Their academic program for their players they have so many resources and support that you can't do nothing but succeed it seems like," Ingram said. "And also the strength coach (John Dettmann) he's real impressive with his performance and all the coaches they were real personable and down to earth and made me feel comfortable."

Obviously impressed with the Badgers' academic support, Ingram shared the academic avenues he might pursue if UW becomes his future home.
